Grabban will go to higher level - Evans

As the club consider one bid and wait for another for striker Lewis Grabban, Steve Evans says he won't be going anywhere else in League Two.

Evans confirmed earlier today that more interest in Grabban, other than the accepted bid from Crawley Town, has been received.

He also confirmed the chase to sign Matt Tubbs has now come to an end.

On the Grabs situation, Evans told Millersplayer: "Paul Douglas has spoken to two clubs and one said they would come back in the next 24 hours, the other spoke to us on Monday and made an official offer. That offer has now been passed from Paul to the board and they will decide whether that offer is acceptable to them.

"They are League One clubs, Lewis certainly won't be going anywhere in League Two. That doesn't mean I will never sell a player to another League Two club but I don't think Lewis would move to another club at this level because he knows what we have here."

Evans has also quashed rumours of a move to sign veteran Lee Bowyer, as reported by MillersMAD this morning.
