Fenton discounts Millers travel sickness

Skipper Nick Fenton says the club have just had a blip away from DVS of late, and despite three consecutive losses on the road he's confident of a turnaround. The Millers have lost at wycombe, Stevenage and Port Vale in the past 14 days after winning five on the road of their first nine in League Two.  With too many draws racked up at DVS over the past year or so the away form has been a saving grace, but Fenton insists his side could do with a bit more luck on their travels."Have we got travel sickness? I wouldn't say that" - he told the Tiser. "We have a good away record so far. The Wycombe game was tight but we played very well in the second half there and should have got something from it. "Stevenage was just one of those nights. It was a rubbish match but we didn't really deserve to lose 3-0. We didn't play well but the result flattered them. "Again, on Tuesday, there wasn't a lot between the sides. You could see there was restlessness there and apparently the players have had a few troubles with the manager. It was crying out for us to score first. Alfie had a chance in the first half and if we had scored then I think we would have won the game but after their goal we didn't really create enough going forward. I think they were there for the taking but we didn't trouble them enough and the pitch was awful. "I thought defensively we did alright but the passing from all of us, not just the forward players, wasn't good enough. We have some really good match winners in our side like Alfie, Nicky Law, Marcus Marshall, Ryan Taylor and now Ian Thomas-Moore but it didn't happen for us." Fenton added: "Everyone around us is slipping up all the time. Wycombe are away and flying now and we should be as well but it hasn't happened so we need to pick ourselves up pick up some wins and get up that table. "Crewe had a spanking in midweek so they will be on their toes", he warned.Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Miller Bear's home kit
