MillersMAD can reveal that the premiership manager that applied for role with the Millers was sacked Chelsea boss André Villa Boas

AVB was sacked just 4 weeks ago after a disappointing spell with the Londoners, but see's the job at Rotherham as a great job opportunity to show what he can do.

The 34 year old is one of the late applicant's which saw the club delay any appointment for another fortnight.

With a very impressive win ratio of over 60% surely this is the man to bring the good times back??

Speaking informally to one of the London Millers at a luncheon in London AVB said; "What happened at Chelsea was unfortunate and I feel I should have had more time to mould a team of young new blood, however the job at Rotherham is an exciting opportunity to re-prove myself."

"With the new ground coming online soon, an ambitious progressive Chairman who's willing to back his man the club should really be playing in a higher division, however I'm willing to drop to League 2 in order to get the job." he added.
