Everyone's gutted Andy's gone - Patterson
Darren Patterson gives further reaction after last nights win over Macclesfield, as he says everyone at the club is gutted Andy Scott lost his job. Scott picked last nights team, his final act before departing on Monday afternoon and Patto gave his thoughts after the 4-2 win. He said: "I'm pleased for the players because it's been an extremely difficult couple of days and everybody's hurting so I was pleased with the response. "It's nice that we've got a few goals although I wasn't too enamoured about the goals we conceded. one was never a penalty but we reacted very well and positively after that."To be honest it's been a nightmare and all the staff and players are gutted. Andy is a top coach and manager but we've been professional and just got on with the job. I can't thank my staff enough for tonight. We're a tight knit group and we've all stuck together. The players showed great character and we`re pleased we got the win and the three points and now we can move on.'I'll do anything they ask of me at this club and we'll be back in for training to carry on as normal as we can do."
