Evans wary of Lester danger

Steve Evans warns of dangerman Jack Lester's ability and calls for the Millers fans to make some noise against Chessie tomorrow. Evans spoke to themillers.co.uk about his admiration for the veteran 37 year-old forward.   “Jack Lester will be scoring goals when he’s 67. He’ll be going down the beach with his hankie on his head, someone will ask him for a game and he’ll still be the best player on the pitch. I don’t know him personally but coming from people who have worked with him he’s an excellent professional and was born to score goals. I just hope he has a stinker on Saturday."   With less than 1,000 tickets remaining in all areas of the ground, Evans added: “Our fans have been incredible, and we have a responsibility as a club to represent ourselves in the best way possible on and off the field. It will be a battle on the pitch and we need to make the noise off it.   "Someone said to me recently that New York Stadium when it was full reminded them of the atmosphere at Stoke City. What an accolade that is."
