The gaffer touched on his loan signings during his Thursday press conference ahead of the weekend tie with Rochdale, and is expecting a decision on Nouha Dicko from Wigan shortly.
The same applies to Newcastle pair Haris Vuckic and James Tavernier.
Meanwhile the team are training indoors due to the stormy weather with Rob Milsom and Michael O'Connor still missing through injury.
It is hopeful that O'Connor will be fit for the JPT visit to Fleetwood on Tuesday night but Milsom is still struggling with a back spasm.
Joe Skarz however is 100% fit after coming off against Gillingham with a tight hamstring, as is David Worrall after a virus.
