Evans thanks backroom staff

After admitting to the worst week of his Millers career before last weekends 3-1 win over Northampton Town, the gaffer thanks his staff for helping him through it.

The Millers had lost 5 of their previous 6 at the New York Stadium before last weekend and the gaffer told the Advertiser that his backroom staff of Paul Raynor, Paul Warne and Andy Dibble have helped him through it.

"Steve Evans looks inwards before he looks out. If you don't look at yourself then you'll never get it right, If you look in and you're not happy with some of your selections or decisions then you take it quite badly. In the past I've come through spells like that and I think the staff here will tell you I lead by example."

"They played a wonderful part last week. Paul Raynor was an absolute rock and Paul Warne and Andy Dibble have been driving around the country watching games with us. We win and lose together as a backroom team.” he added.
