Despite the arrival of new players being delayed, boss Steve Evans tells Millersplayer that he still hopes to conclude two deals during the week.

As Evans' side focus on their game at Wycombe tomorrow, he took time out to update fans on the latest regarding two possible loan signings with rumours doing the rounds.

He said: "We are still working hard behind the scenes to get a couple of loan signings in although it's fair to say that we've probably stepped back a little bit on one of them."The other one was going to happen over the weekend but will probably take a few more days now to get that done due to circumstances at that particular club. I had texts and phone calls with a Championship club yesterday and it was all positive. It should all be done by the end of the week."

Evans will be without Kari Arnason tomorrow and for Saturdays game at Cheltenham following his second red card of the season on Saturday. The offence carries a one game suspension with the additional game due to the previous dismissal.

Mark Bradley is also a doubt for the trip to Adams Park with an ankle injury and will be assessed after an X-ray.

Midfielder Mitch Rose has re-joined Stamford on loan until April 6th.
