Last years club captain Cresswell, who has a year to run on his contract, is unable to be guaranteed first team football by new gaffer Evans after the summer signings of Kari Arnason and Ian Sharps.
Schofield, signed by Andy Scott last summer on a three year deal, has also been told he can leave the football club following new purchases.
Goalkeeper Annerson now finds himself third in the pecking order behind Andy Warrington and Scott Shearer and has been previously placed on the transfer list.
Meanwhile midfielder Ben Pringle, also rumoured to be heading out of the club yesterday, should now be staying.
