As the Millers boss Steve Evans sets to work on creating a promotion winning squad, he releases 7 players including Danny Harrison and Tom Newey.

Midfielder Danny Harrison is the biggest casualty of Steve Evans cull after spending the last 5 seasons, making over 200 appearances with the Millers, scoring 18 goals in the process he finds himself free to find a new club this summer.

Tom Newey joins already released Marcus Marshall, Ollie Banks, Luke Foster and Richard Naylor last week.

Paul Warne has not been offered a new playing contract, but as revealed last week at the Fans Forum he will be offered a new deal as a development coach.

Michael Raynes and Jamie Annerson have also been made available for transfer.

Evans now turns his attentions to bring in new players.
