Evans has Frecklington back up

As the Millers look to tied up a permanant deal with Peterborough for on loan midfielder Lee Frecklington, boss Steve Evans has a back up just in case he tells the Star.

The Millers will have to beat off other clubs to gain the signature of the 27 year old, despite the club having 3 meetings with Peterborough to thrash a deal out the gaffer is taking a belt and braces approach.

Speaking to the Star he said; “If we don’t get Lee Frecklington then somebody as good will be coming in - and you had better believe me. I know who I’m going for if the Frecklington deal doesn’t get done and so does the chairman."

“Millers fans will get to trust me when I say I’m going to do something when there are reasons why we can’t do something else.” he added
