Elliott set to miss out

On-loan striker Tom Elliott is unlikely to be fit for Rotherham's League Two clash with Burton. Elliott was substituted during the defeat at Shrewsbury last weekend after picking up a hamstring injury and is not expected to face the Brewers, so veteran striker Paul Warne is set to start. Fellow forward Tom Pope scored twice for the Millers' reserves on Wednesday night and the former Crewe man could be named as a substitute after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a broken metatarsal. On-loan full-back Dean Holden is available to return after missing the defeat against the Shrews as he was ineligible to face his parent club. Boss Ronnie Moore must decide whether to recall Holden or keep faith with Johnny Mullins Nick Fenton also featured for the reserves in midweek after recovering from a calf problem, but Moore is expected to stick with the central defensive pairing of Exodus Geohaghon and Ryan Cresswell. Mark Bradley is back in the squad after returning from international duty, but Dale Tonge and Ryan Taylor are both still sidelined with metatarsal injuries.
