The Millers physio Denis Circuit is one of the unseen heros with the Millers, but tomorrow he chalks up his 700th competitive game looking after the Millers players.

After 700 games and nearly 14 years looking at the medical side of the Millers, physio Denis Circuit retires at the end of this season.

Speaking in todays Advertiser he gives his some of his memoirs and admits that he's happy if he does'nt have to leave the bench on a Saturday afternoon; "I'm always delighted not to be called on, not just because it means no-one has got hurt but because it might mean I've got Sunday off. But obviously, to do the job you have to be a football fan and it means working tenand- a-half months a year without a break."

“On matchdays, the worst thing is the countdown to kick-off. It always seems like a long couple of hours and I can never wait for the action to start.”

With over 700 games looking after the Millers players, Denis has seen plenty of injuries, although Chris Swailes was one of the most regular patients; “He must have had more head injuries than anyone else in the league,”

“You're the middle man between the player and manager and you have to be a bit of an arbiter at times, But I always give an honest opinion on a player's fitness and then it's down to the player and the manager. I could never live with myself if I just agreed with what the manager said but I have to say that in terms of players playing while carrying injuries, there's a big difference now compared to 20 years ago.”

"The Rotherham fans are unbelievable in their support, especially away from home,” he added.
