After signing Danny Schofield yesterday, the Millers chief operating officer Paul Douglas sings his praises. Speaking to the Star, Paul Douglas said; “Danny is a quality player and we were not the only club interested in him. He knows what we are trying to achieve here and we are pleased to have got him." “Andy wants players who are of a standard that will improve the squad and that want to play for us and Danny fits the bill.” he added. Meanwhile boss Andy Scott was happy to have signed the Doncaster born 31 year old, saying he would fill the gap after Nicky Law rejected a new deal to move north of the border to Motherwell. “Danny is a real marquee signing, He played 30-plus games in the Championship last season and was a mainstay in the side that got Millwall promoted.”
