Dale looking to put unlucky breaks behind him.

Dale Tonge made his first appearance of the season in Mondays win at Macclesfield after recovering from a broken foot. He's hoping he can now put the injuries behind him. Dale tells the 'Tiser that that last year was the worst of his career, and after recovering from a fracture which curtailed the end of last season only to break the same bone in pre-season training you can see why. However return to the side on Monday was somewhat of a suprise, but he's happy to be back; "It was one of the toughest games to come back to because the Macclesfield players are all giants and it was a real physical battle," he told the Advertiser."I'm still a bit stiff but I enjoyed it and it was great to be back and free of pain. It's the first time since I've been like that since October. It's been a long road back but this time I had the bone pinned and rested in properly. Now I just want to stay fit and healthy and keep playing." Gaffer Ronnie Moore was happy with Tongeys performance; "Dale did nothing wrong when you consider how long he has been out," said Moore.
