Curle expecting tough battle

Speaking to nottscountyfc.co.uk, Pies boss Keith Curle says he's expecting nothing less than a tough game tomorrow.

Curle watched the Millers 2-1 win at Accrington on Tuesday night in tricky conditions and will probably think tomorrow is likely to be a scrap rather than a footballing affair, but we all know we can play attractive football at home.

He gave the media a token interview, saying: “It’s a difficult place to go to and I think people are going to go there with an expectancy.

“Because of our away form and from being a division above, people are going to think that we’re an automatic into the next round. I can assure you that it won’t be that easy, it will be a very difficult task.    “We will go there and apply ourselves in the right frame of mind and we will be competitive. It’s a slight local derby and a decent rivalry and we’ll have a very good vocal support behind us.   “You never know with these games where they can lead to, so it’s important that we go there mentally and physically prepared.”
