Cresswell looks to Fenton partnership

Summer signing Ryan Cresswell sets out his aims for the coming season. Nick Fenton and departed skipper Ian Sharps forged a good understanding as centre backs while paired together last year, and new man Cresswell is confident that he can do just the same alongside Fenton this term. The 23 year old spoke to the Advertiser this week - "The partnership with Nick Fenton is coming along well. I've known Fenners for a while and we communicate with each other very well and can build on it. "The main thing for us was to get 90 minutes under the belt and prepare for the season starting." Ryan added."Sheffield United are an established Championship side and they probably should be beating us, but I thought we had a couple of good chances there to score in the first half before they scored."Cresswell has worn the captains armband in pre-season and is hoping to secure that accolade against Lincoln at Don Valley."Hopefully I'll have the armband for the Lincoln game. I enjoy having the captaincy, but it's up to the manager so we'll see what happens."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
