Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore's joy at getting back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Aldershot was marred by an injury to skipper Ryan Cresswell.
Adam Le Fondre gave the Millers victory after firing home from Marcus Marshall's cross, however, Aldershot had their chances and Wade Small hit the crossbar with a penalty following Tom Newey's challenge on Ben Herd, while the visitors also had Jamie Vincent sent off for two bookable offences - both for fouls on Marshall.
Moore's immediate focus was Cresswell though, who was stretchered off with a fractured collarbone and will now be out for at least three months.
He said: "It's bad, there is no doubt about that. It's a massive blow for us because he's just back after injury and he leads the team so well.
"But it was a fantastic result and a fantastic performance for us. The first 10 minutes weren't brilliant but after that we totally dominated the game.
"And we had how many chances to kill them off, and sometimes when you don't do that you pay, but I thought we defended well and the clean sheet was a bonus for us."
