Cress struggles for Millers

Rotherham skipper Ryan Cresswell is a doubt for the long trip to Southend. The centre-half suffered a back injury in the warm-up to last weekend's 4-3 home defeat to Wycombe and has yet to return to training. Luke Ashworth received a last-minute call-up to replace Cresswell, though Nick Fenton returned to reserves action in midweek after a recent calf injury and could come into the side. Fellow defender Exodus Geohaghon plays the final game of his three-month loan spell from Peterborough, with boss Ronnie Moore keen to bring him back in January. On-loan Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall is set for his debut in midfield after joining the Millers, while Ryan Taylor continues to push for a start in attack. Dale Tonge remains a long-term absentee with a metatarsal injury.
