Continue to back the boys - Evans

Boss Steve Evans has called on the fans to continue their great suport this coming weekend, as his unbeaten Millers side face much fancied Peterborough. The gaffer watched high flying Leyton Orient win 2-0 at Brentford last night at Griffin Park, as he continued his scouting mission ahead of a tough month of fixtures for his side.   “There is no doubt that this is going to be a big test against a team I fully expect to be challenging for the League One championship come the end of the season,” Evans told themillers.co.uk ahead of the visit of Posh on Saturday.   “We will need to win the battle off the pitch so I am calling on our supporters to once again come out in big numbers and continue the magnificent support which we receive both home and away.  Having lived in Peterborough for much of my life I know they will be backed by a loud and passionate support, so I am expecting an electric atmosphere at New York.   “I said back in the summer that Peterborough were the ‘champions elect’, and I will be watching them closely once again tonight when they take on Sunderland. They have some quality players for this level."
