Brogan needs more confidence - Moore

12 February 2010 07:43
Despite scoring 6 goals in his last 5 reserve outings, boss Ronnie Moore tells todays Advertiser that Stephen Brogan needs more confidence and games under his belt before a first team comeback. Brogan has been talked about all week after his 'Facebookgate' comments after being left out of the squad that was utter pants at Darlington last Saturday. But boss Ronnie Moore gave the Advertiser his reason why the 21 year old isnt in his matchday squad as yet and said: "I would expect Stephen to be frustrated at not playing. There would be something wrong if he wasn't. We've a lot of left-sided players here and he has to prove he's better than Kevin Ellison and Gavin Gunning.""Stephen is an attack-minded full-back but I'm not sure he can do the full-back job, getting up and down the park, like he did before. He's turning more into a left-winger. He's scoring for the reserves but he needs more confidence and games." "Whether habit or not, Stephen still has a limp after the injury. Things are going on in the background to get him back to full fitness."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topicsMillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
