Brogan - I need to keep performing to get in the team

After having a rough time of things since his bad injury over 2 years ago, Stephen Brogan is hoping he can get back in Ronnie Moores team. Brogan played the full 90 minutes at Alfreton on Tuesday evening and despite the result had a good game, and speaking to the Star today, the 22 year old know's he has to put a performance in consistantly to get back in the team."It was nice to get my first 90 minutes of pre-season the other night and I was pleased with my performance. But I know I need to keep performing well in training and in the friendlies to get into the team.""Hopefully I showed to Ronnie that I am capable of playing in the team and doing a good job for him. If I don't come start, I will be raring to come on from the substitutes bench and make an impression."Stephen missed out as the Millers visited Wembley and admitted that it hurt; "I don't want that experience again so I will just train as hard as I can and hopefully that will get me more involved, it is up to me to keep working as hard as I can to force my way into Ronnie's team." he said"I love playing for Rotherham and I will give it my all to be part of the side. This is my last year at the club so I know I'm playing for my future."It is a big year in my career. At the age of 22, I know I need to perform well and hopefully that will be for Rotherham but if not then I will have to look elsewhere to make sure that I have got a future in the game."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
