Branston devastated at red card

Millers new boy Guy Branston said he was devastated about his sending off at Bristol Rovers on Friday night.

Psycho, now 32, rejoined the club on Thursday evening on loan from Bradford but began his second spell as he did his first back in 1999 - with an early bath.

"I was devastated", he told the press. "I have gone to win the ball and I didn't hurt anyone, but the rules are you can't tackle with two feet. I meant to win the ball and I thought if I don't go in full-hearted I might get myself hurt.

"I made the wrong decision, but I'm one of those defenders who likes to win tackles."

Branston will miss the Millers next three matches againast Shrewsbury, Morecambe and Northampton where he has also been previously red carded in a Rotherham shirt back in 2000.

He also misses games against his parent club and the FA Cup first round on November 12th, and added; "I'm just going to concentrate on my next game, whenever that might be."
