Bradford win clinched promotion - Evans

Speaking to the PA, gaffer Steve Evans looks back to the 2-0 win at Bradford to the point where the Millers battle for promotion was won.

Before the season, Evans said it would be a rollercoaster ride, and how right he was. The Millers travelled to in-form Bradford City and won 2-0, after that the boss says promotion was never in doubt.

"After Morecambe the players were devastated and after that there was a steely determination to prove people wrong, We showed that to win the final five games and if the season had been going another five games we'd have been champions."

"When Kieran Agard ran the length of the pitch to score the second goal at Bradford, that was the moment I knew we would win automatic promotion and I never doubted it after that. That was a big hurdle and we jumped it like a horse would jump Beechers Brook at the Grand National."

"I never doubted the group and never doubted the staff and I never doubted myself." he added.
