Millers boss Ronnie Moore tells todays Star that he is over the moon to have brought in Hull winger Will Atkinson. 22 year old Atkinson joined the Millers last week until January 4th after the gaffer had been tracking him for several weeks. The winger made 4 appearances for the Tigers this season after spending a spell on loan at Rochdale last season and impressing in thier promotion."Will is a fantastic signing for us, He is going to bring us pace down the the left-hand side. He played a lot of games for Rochdale last season so he knows what it is like to win promotion out of this division." Ronnie told todays Star."We are grateful to Hull for letting him come out and get experience with us. Will is quick, a typical winger who can go on the inside or outside. He is clever on the ball and he can deliver a fantastic cross on the run. He played well in the game when Rochdale beat us 4-0 and he has always caught the eye.""I have seen a lot of him. We tried to get him a few weeks ago but they would not let him out at the time. But Hull have now taken Cameron Stewart from Manchester United so that opened the door." he added.Moore went on to speak about the competition for the left wing slot; "It is competition and it healthy for the club that we have got that. We haven't had competition on that left-flank. Kev's had that shirt all to himself. Brogs has picked up injuries so there hasn't been any real pressure on Kev."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Miller Bear's home kit
