Rotherham manager Andy Scott praised striker Adam Le Fondre after he took recent feedback on board and rediscovered his scoring touch in the 2-2 draw with Aldershot.
Scott had urged Le Fondre, who had found himself on the bench in recent weeks, to improve his all-round game in the build-up to the clash and he responded with two typically astute finishes.
"I thought he was outstanding, the question was asked of him and he is someone that I have failed to work out yet," said Scott.
"I told him what I thought he could be and asked whether he could do those things. He was fantastic, he got on the ball and he is a clever player.
"He worked his socks off and worked both channels and getting two goals got him his rewards."
