Hainault in line for County debut
Canada international Andre Hainault is in the Ross County squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Hibernian.
The defender completed his move from Houston Dynamo after finalising his work permit.
Boss Derek Adams told the club`s official website: "Our interest in Andre has been no secret and when you look at his record that's no surprise.
"Despite still only being a young player, he's got experience of playing in Europe as well as at a top side in the MLS which is now an extremely good league which features world class players.
"Signing players from outside the EU does involve a lot more work in the background to secure the necessary clearance and visas, but this work has now secured us a player who will undoubtedly add to the squad here at Ross County."
Adams will be without midfielder Stuart Kettlewell (hamstring).
New Hibernian signing Scott Robertson will go straight into Pat Fenlon's squad.
The twice-capped Scotland international and former Dundee United midfielder has moved to the Easter Road outfit on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Robertson managed just one appearance for Blackpool - a 3-0 defeat away to Cardiff in October - and the frustrating spell coincided with personal issues that made a return to Scotland just six months after quitting Tannadice a necessity.
But despite the failure of move south of the border, the 27-year-old believes he returns to the SPL a better player than the one who left.
He said: "I'm happy to be back in Scotland and hopefully playing. For personal reasons it's great to be back as well.
"The fact that Hibs are doing well this season made the decision to come here easy. The manager was also in contact and said he wanted to bring me here, which helped too. It's always a good sign that you are wanted and will be made welcome.
"There was interest from him at the end of last season but at that time I was convinced I was going to give England a shot. It never turned out too good for me but I'm fully confident in my ability that I can come here and do well.
"You learn from all your experiences in football, even the bad ones. My time at Blackpool wasn't the way I wanted it to be but I'm a stronger player and person for that."
Fenlon is still sweating on the fitness of on-loan Manchester City defender Ryan McGivern, who could miss out with a hamstring injury.
