Taberner poised to make Dale debut

Regular number one Kenny Arthur is rated doubtful with a back injury at Spotland and Matt Edwards is sidelined with a fractured wrist. Taberner will become Dale's youngest-ever keeper aged just 16 years and 147 days - 66 days younger than current Derby shot-stopper Stephen Bywater was when he started between the posts for Dale. The youngest ever player to feature for the club was Zac Hughes, who made his debut at the age of 16 years and 105 days back in September 1987.
