Donnelly banned for Dale

Rochdale will be without suspended striker George Donnelly for the home game against Wycombe.

Donnelly was shown a controversial straight red card in last week's win at Accrington for his challenge on defender Nicky Hunt and the club's appeal against the dismissal failed in midweek.

Manager Keith Hill, whose side are chasing a fourth straight league win, has several options in Donnelly's absence, with Joe Bunney, Matty Done and Graham Cummins all in contention to start.

Dale will be without skipper Peter Cavanagh again as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury, but Gary Dicker hopes to resume in midfield after making his debut last week and Bastien Hery is also pushing for a recall.

Wycombe will be without top scorer Dean Morgan as they look to extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

The striker will sit out the clash with Rochdale after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign but fellow forward Steven Craig is available to step in after recovering from flu which ruled the Scot out of last weekend's draw with York.

Paris-Cowan-Hall (knee), Josh Scowen (ankle) and Jon-Paul Pittman (back) all returned to action in a midweek cup clash, leaving manager Gareth Ainsworth with plenty of options.

On-loan Blackpool defender Charles Dunne has had to settle for a place on the bench since returning from suspension but may earn a recall to the side.
