Noble-Lazarus set for Dale bow

Rochdale will have striker Reuben Noble-Lazarus available for Saturday's League One clash with Preston after he joined on loan from Barnsley this week.

The 21-year-old has previously worked under Dale boss Keith Hill with the Tykes and insists he is raring to go after getting limited opportunities to shine this term.

Midfielder Peter Vincenti will be missing for up to two months after the 28-year-old ruptured his medial ligament against Swindon recently.

Michael Rose came in for last week's 3-0 win at Yeovil and will be keen to secure an extended run in the first team.

Forward Paul Gallagher (groin) is doubtful for the first of Preston's six away trips in November.

The Leicester loanee was taken off in the second half of North End's eighth successive win at Leyton Orient in midweek as a precautionary measure.

Australia international Bailey Wright underwent minor surgery on a troublesome groin problem this week and faces a couple of weeks on the sidelines, but fellow defender Tom Clarke could play after recovering from a virus.

Full-back Calum Woods and midfielder Will Hayhurst were back in training earlier in the week, yet winger Andy Little has had a setback (calf) and striker Jordan Hugill (knee) is a long-term absentee.
