In-form Dale unchanged

Rochdale boss Keith Hill could name an unchanged starting line-up against Northampton.

Hill has no new injury or suspension problems after his side's weekend win at Cheltenham, which lifted them up to second place in the table.

George Donnelly stepped off the substitutes' bench following a three-game ban on Saturday and is pushing for a place in the starting line-up and fellow striker Scott Hogan could return to contention after an unspecified injury.

Skipper Peter Cavanagh (Achilles) remains a long-term absentee as Dale bid for a seventh win in eight league matches.

Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd has defender Joe Widdowson available.

Widdowson missed his side's last two matches with a hamstring problem but has recovered in time to travel to high-flying Dale.

The manager will monitor forward Roy O'Donovan who missed Saturday's 2-2 draw with Dagenham after aggravating his ankle injury in the 2-0 defeat to Oxford.

Boothroyd has no fresh injury concerns but Clive Platt (calf), Matt Heath (thigh), Alex Nicholls (broken leg), Kelvin Langmead (knee) and Lewis Hornby (back) are still out as the Cobblers search for just their third victory of their league campaign.
