Bennett blow for Dale

Rochdale will be without injured midfielder Rhys Bennett for their home game against Leyton Orient.

Bennett twisted his ankle during last week's draw at Coventry and that could mean a place in the starting line-up for Bastien Hery or Andy Cannon.

Dale will also be without leading goalscorer Matty Done, who signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Sheffield United on transfer deadline day.

Another recent signing, forward Febian Brandy, is hoping to make his first appearance for the club after being an unused substitute in Dale's last two league matches.

Alex Cisak is set to make his Orient debut after joining on loan from Burnley.

Boss Fabio Liverani moved for goalkeeper Cisak on transfer deadline day with regular number one Adam Legzdins sidelined after dislocating a shoulder.

Defender Scott Cuthbert (ankle) and striker Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) will be assessed after missing the 4-1 defeat by Scunthorpe last weekend which saw the O's slump to second from bottom.

Jay Simpson, Marvin Bartley, Jobi McAnuff and Lloyd James are still in the treatment room.
