Ramsden opts for Dale exit

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has confirmed that defender Simon Ramsden has left the club after rejecting the offer of a new contract.
The 27-year-old had made well over 100 appearances for Dale since his arrival from Grimsby Town, but has opted to take up an offer from another, as yet, unnamed club.
Hill told the club's official website: "I believe that Simon has taken up the option to sign for another club.
"He has been offered a deal at another club that goes way beyond our financial restrictions. As well as a colleague, he is a friend and I do genuinely wish him all the best.
"I know that it was a difficult decision for him to make because he has been very happy here, but I can fully understand his reasons."
