Doolan is an experienced midfielder and since starting his career with Everton he has made over 350 appearances during his career with varoius clubs including Mansfield , Barnet and Doncaster . Doolan is a natural leader on the pitch and is the type of player the Shakers have needed for some time and the 31 year old has a contract keeping him at Spotland until the summer of 2007 .
