Chris Dagnall began his career with the youth academy at Tranmere , but moved to Rochdale for a fee of £15,000 in January 2006 .He is a pacey striker with a very direct approach to the game and Steve Parkin was quick to bring Dagnall to Spotland after the departure of Grant Holt to Nottingham Forest .
