Parkin demands unity

Rochdale manager Steve Parkin is determined to lift his team away from the relegation zone after watching Dale crash out of the FA Cup on Monday.
Parkin's side lost the first round replay at Hartlepool United on penalties after the match had ended goalless after extra-time.
Since winning 5-0 at Darlington in early October, Dale have taken only one point from five League Two games, and Parkin knows how important Saturday's game against Mansfield Town now is.
"Our home form has been disappointing to say the least and, with our current position in the league table, we know how vital it is we win (against Mansfield)," Parkin told the club's official website.
"What we can't afford to do is feel sorry for ourselves.
"The attitude of the players was exemplary on Monday night, as was the magnificent support from the terraces, and we'll need these ingredients again if we're to overcome Mansfield on Saturday.
"I think everybody associated with the club realised this season would be somewhat of a learning curve for us but, if we want to come out of it stronger, we all need to stick together."
