Moore: We were an embarrassment

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore was left scratching his head after another poor performance from his side in the 2-0 defeat at rock-bottom Darlington. Goals from Tadgh Purcell and Gareth Waite gave the Quakers a deserved and much-needed win and was the second time this season they had beaten the Millers. Moore said: "We have changed our system a bit lately. I want the players to start to pass and move - how many long balls have we played today? In training everything goes fine, but then in an important league game the players fail to deliver. "Myself, I'm embarrassed to lose six points to the team at the bottom of the league. If the players aren't embarrassed then they want locking up. "We didn't put their keeper under any pressure and that is the result that you get for lack of effort and commitment. "I feel sorry for the fans that have paid good money and given up their time to come along and support us. They deserve better than that."
