Loanees to leave Dale

Rochdale manager Keith Hill will allow three loan players to leave Spotland this week.

Kelvin Lomax, Rob Atkinson and Scott Taylor will all return to their parent clubs before their loan spells with Dale expire on November 18.

Hill's side are without a game this weekend after their match with Chesterfield was postponed because of international call-ups.

Meanwhile, Hill is determined to mount a promotion challenge after watching his side crash out of the FA Cup.

Dale lost 2-1 at Southend United in the first round of the competition, but Hill insisted: "We believe that we have a great opportunity for the rest of the season with what we had on the pitch and what we had back in Rochdale to concentrate on the league now.

"The league has always been our priority and we can go one way or the other - we can attack it or we can be also-rans."
