Lillis keen on Dale stay

Scunthorpe goalkeeper Josh Lillis admits he would like to stay on loan at Rochdale for the rest of the season. Lillis, 23, has been back at Glanford Park having treatment after damaging his hamstring during Dale's 1-1 draw against Oldham just over a fortnight ago. Yet Lillis has indicated that he is fit to resume and with his loan not due to expire until early next month, he could make his comeback against Bournemouth on Saturday. Lillis told the Rochdale Observer: "My first wish would be to do that at Scunthorpe, but if the chance to stay at Rochdale for the rest of the season was there, I would be happy to do so. "I have not really heard much yet about what is going to happen. "Rochdale have a game against Bournemouth on Saturday and I hope I can be back to play in that."
