Le Fondre wants third time lucky

The Spotland outfit have failed in the play-offs in the past two campaigns and have not achieved a promotion since 1969. Le Fondre is confident Keith Hill's men have what it takes to go up and says their previous failures can help to fuel their push over the coming months. He told the club's official website: "I think the two disappointments from last season have got to spur the lads on. "We were in a great position last year to achieve a top-three finish but unfortunately fell just short, so we'll be hoping to kick on and go up automatically."
