Kennedy banned for Dale
Rochdale boss Keith Hill will be without midfielder Jason Kennedy for the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy clash at Port Vale.
Dale won 3-1 at Brentford on Saturday but Kennedy saw red for a second yellow following his goal celebrations and is now banned.
Hill, who fielded the same starting XI on Saturday that had played at Birmingham in the Carling Cup two days earlier, may opt to shuffle his pack at Vale Park.
The Spotland boss has praised his players following Saturday`s victory at Brentford.
He said: "We've stepped up a division and our training programme is absolutely brilliant.
"Our staff make sure the players are well prepared. It was difficult to play two games in three days but we've managed it."
