Kennedy back for Dale
Rochdale boss Keith Hill is boosted by the return of midfielder Jason Kennedy for the trip to Southampton.
Dale won 3-1 at Brentford last weekend but Kennedy saw red for a second yellow following his goal celebrations and was banned for the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy defeat to Port Vale in midweek.
Winger Joe Thompson returned to the starting line-up at Vale Park after a bout of illness and there are fresh injury or suspension concerns for Hill.
Highly-rated defender Craig Dawson joined West Brom for an undisclosed fee this week but will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Spotland.
The 20-year-old has opted to join the Baggies on a three-year deal with a further year's option in West Brom's favour.
