Rochdale skipper Gary Jones sees no reason why his side cannot achieve a second successive promotion this season.
Dale secured their first promotion since 1969 when climbing out of League Two last term and Jones is confident they can now look to reach the Championship.
Keith Hill's side are unbeaten so far in 2011 having won four of their last six games including last weekend's impressive 1-0 win at Yeovil.
Jones told the Manchester Evening News: "Let's start dreaming of making the play offs, or maybe even better and getting an automatic place - why not?
"You've got to set your goals high. That's the thing about this league, everyone can beat each other.
"We've got a big game against Charlton next and we will go into that full of confidence. There should be a big crowd and hopefully we can carry on our fine form."
