Hill vows to keep Dagnall

Rochdale manager Keith Hill is adamant that Chris Dagnall will not be leaving Spotland this summer.

The 22-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Stockport County but Hill is determined to keep hold of the former Tranmere man.

He told the Rochdale Observer: "Jim Gannon's certainly not been in touch with me regarding Chris Dagnall and, in the past, whenever Jim's made an enquiry about a player, he's always gone about it the right way and shown me respect by contacting me first.

"Chris Dagnall is a hugely talented player and we're fortunate in that he's contracted to the club for the next two years.

"It would take a sizeable fee to prise Chris Dagnall away from Rochdale."
