Hill seeks a new striker

Rochdale manager Keith Hill has been attempting to bring in new signings 'all day every day' at Spotland.

Hill has desperately been trying to replace Glenn Murray who he lost in the January transfer window to Brighton for £300,000. Murray bagged 25 league goals in 54 appearances during his time with the 'Dale.

Since Murray's departure, Dale have embarked on a disappointing run of form, losing four of their last five games, severely hurting any chances of promotion.

Hill told the club's official website: "We are working all day every day in an attempt to bring in a replacement for Glenn Murray and we made no secret of the fact that losing him was a big blow.

"At this moment in time the clubs that we are talking to are not willing to let us have players who are scoring goals and that is understandable."
