Hill pleased with point

Rochdale boss Keith Hill was the happier of the two managers as his side held Hartlepool to a goalless draw at Spotland.Pools had to settle for a point after Rochdale debutant Josh Lillis made a string of fine saves to frustrate the visitors and Hill admitted he was happy to get the first game out of the way."The players looked a little bit nervous in the first 10 minutes," said Hill. "I don't expect that but they're only human and it was the real deal and it was a big occasion."I'm reasonably happy, especially considering the other three teams who came up from League Two with us have all been defeated and that shows you how big the step up is."I'm pleased with the clean sheet but I think in the first half both teams could have scored and probably should have scored."In the second half I thought we had possession without any penetration. You've got to give the opposition credit because they stopped us playing and as I said, I'm reasonably happy. We've got the first day fixture out of the way and I'm really pleased."
