Hill calls for more clinical finishing
A brace from Chris Dagnall gave the home side a comfortable win at Spotland, despite Chris Hargreaves getting a consolation goal for the Gulls, and Hill insisted his side should have converted more of their chances to ensure there was no nervous finale. "We should have had more reward for the type of display we produced in the first half because it was very difficult to replicate that performance after the break," he said. "We got the two goals, I'm just a bit disappointed we didn't keep a clean sheet. We definitely deserved the three points and it sets us up nicely for next week against Northampton away. "Those games need to be put to bed. For all the possession and chances we had in the first half we were only 1-0 up at half-time. "They caused us a few problems after the break, but we got the second and Chris Dagnall is getting the goals his hard work warrants. We let them in for a goal late on and I was glad to hear the final whistle in the end."
