Hill: No disgrace in defeat

05 November 2008 12:55
Rochdale boss Keith Hill believes there is no disgrace in losing to Scunthorpe United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Dale lost their area quarter-final 1-0 to the League One leaders following a late David Mirfin winner at Glanford Park. "Obviously it is disappointing to lose to a goal so late in the game when it looked like going to penalties," said Hill. "But performance-wise I have nothing but praise for my players. They were superb. "Scunthorpe are currently the best team in League One and yet they have had to change formation to nullify our threat. "We have got to take that as a great compliment and on another day it could so easily have been us going through to the next round."
