Hill: We were second best

Rochdale boss Keith Hill admitted MK Dons deserved their win after his side`s 11-match unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a 4-1 home defeat. Dons led through Rowan Vine and Daniel Powell added a second before Stephen Gleeson grabbed a brilliant third on the stroke of half-time. Craig Dawson replied for Dale before Sam Baldock`s late penalty wrapped up a fine win for Karl Robinson`s men. "I didn't expect our unbeaten run to come to an end in a 4-1 defeat, but we lost to the better team," said Hill. "They were far more clinical than us in the first half. "I was relatively pleased with some of our performances, but they were ruthless in front of goal and they deserved to win, for they were the better side without question."
