Hill: We came second best to Bono

U2 had played a sell-out concert at the Don Valley Stadium in midweek, affecting the playing surface. "It was a bad decision to allow us to play on this pitch," said Hill. "We put an official report in to the referee before the game because if we had done it after it would have been sour grapes. "The pitch wasn't conducive to any type of football. It should probably have not been played. You don't get preference because Rotherham don't own the stadium. "The stadium manager obviously booked Bono in, so we came second best to Bono," Hill added.
